Mouse Cursor

Hi. Today all of a sudden my mouse cursor changed from the usual arrow head to a blue circle.
Can anyone advise how to change if back on my u9h?
All replies gratefully received.

I cannot refresh. That is only available to users of windows PCs and not Mac users. No problem, am getting used to the new cursor. And will await the u22...?

Was it caused by CCleaner?

I recalled that last May there was a similar situation reported in the forum and it was solved with a Factory Reset:

You don't need a computer for that, and who knows it does it also for you. (Remember to backup your data before proceeding)
 
Many thanks. You are absolutely correct. I installed Avg antivirus and avg cleaner. All was well until avg cleaner suggested putting some apps into hibernation. To do so, it required my permission. I granted this and suddenly my screen turned sideways and the blue circle cursor appeared.

I managed, after chasing the mouse around the screen, to get into settings....display...screen orientation and click on " force land" and it righted itself. However, when I went back into the same settings and clicked on "normal ", the screen went sideways again. So I am not sure if the original screen rotation was in " normal" or force land. But I still have the blue circle and am getting used to it.

Yes, I could factory reset, but that would take some time with all the apps I have. And so, I will just live with the new cursor until my U22 arrives.

Thanks for letting us know how it went. Fortunately you found out what caused it and that is always a good feedback to help other users, that will find this thread in the future, to also decide what is best for them. Unfortunately these 'cleaners' sometimes clean more than was expected.
