Music through USB-C?

Is it possible to connect a musical instrument to the USB-C port to play music through the U22?

Have a patch cable with a standard USB port, and another with a USB-C. Was hoping there was a way to play though the TV's speakers in that method. Don't know of any Android app that could be used to play music, unless VLC has one?

Was hoping to record music being played by an instrument into the Minix box and played through the TV speakers. Have a 1/4" jack to Type C cord. Was hoping that could work.

instrument you want to connect to Minix Guitare ?,synthesizer?,drum?....for synthesizer it work with USB, other instruments with jack 6,3/xlr/midi you need external sound card ,with audio évolution mobile app from store ,you Can use audio évolution mobile without external sound card for mic jack 3,5 ( if your minix have input) ,for synthesizer with USB ..)

Tried kalimba through its pickup, through a USB cord. That failed miserably. Found another shorter cord that connects via Type C, so thought I would give that a try. So I asked beforehand. Guess there's no defeating in having to get an amp. Sicne I do not fully understand how the Minix works, what it can/cannot do, and what the acronyms for each mean to those not familiar said acronyms was more or less seeing what works. So far, anything with a microphone seriously fails on the Minix. NOTHING audio input wise works. Video is fair, but 2MP cameras are carp anyhow (IMO).

Tried using a video camera to pick up on didgeridoo. Audio failed miserably. Sounded like hogs wallowing in the mud. Not sure why the video is fair, but the microphone portion sounds like carp. There's something in the Minix box that kills any decent incoming audio. Don't have a 1/8 inch microphone (yet) but can try that route. If that fails then it means the box in faulty in that area.

Have a new USB microphone that worked good on the laptop, although had to go through steps with live sample read-offs to tune it to the OS. Something I've not seen as an option on the Minix. Guess on Android it either works or it does not.

As far as I can tell there is no way to adjust audio input or source from within the Minix settings. So far nothing is working. Cannot even use voice commands on browsers, they cannot understand garble-goop.

For adjust audio inputs/outputs you need spécial mixing software -audio évolution mobile from ap store ,then you Can use USB microphone, jack 3,5 microphone....for recording....play .....your kalimba ....didgeridoo,djembe......you Can record multipiste for instruments for mixing ,put effects on the sound ,you Can just play instruments an here the sound ....audio évolution mobile is a professional mixing studio ,that is what you need ,try it ,i use it for guitare, synthesizer, drums (Roland hpd20) ,boss rc505 loop station,Akai lpk25 usb, djembe,voice....it work perfect with the minix
You have tuto for audio évolution mobile on youtube.....
On the USB C(data transfer only) you Can put external sound card , midi instruments...for recording. The number of instruments that you Can record... at the same Time depends of thé number of inputs that you have on your sound card ,i use presonus 1818vsl external sound card ( 8x input Jack,Xlr + 1x midi)
Recording instrument sound with webcam is a very Bad Idea ,you dont have all fréquence with the cheap microphone from the webcam ,this can not sound ....

Without external sound card you Can plug multiples USB instruments , guitare, mic, synthesizer... on the minix and use all USB/USB C inputs from the device for multipistes recording/play/mixing with audio évolution mobile

instal audio évolution mobile , connect your USB mic ,make the settings (tutos youtube for beginers) and then give your music life ?
