What is the point of opening a bugtracker FW007. The OTA has been removed by Minix.

Surely it is up to Minix to raise a bugtracker when they officially release a FW upgrade, which they have not done.

They are hoping to release FW 008 to resolve the issues you have already raised.

Yes normaly its minix how open bugtracker but they never do it for fw007 ,i never understand why ??
AT this Time a lot of peopel have instal thé Fw 007 so i think its normal to open bugtracker ,and as you Say minix work on or bring out next days fw008 ,but AT this Time thé peopel have Fw 007 on thé box as you Can see on a lot of posts on the forum...

Plz dont Say they make it work....as you Know they Say a lot of things the last Times but nothing have changed ..
I am sure that they dont résolved thé wallpaper zoom bug ,not make work touchscreen ,not make work the mouse scrolling correctly ...this things and other have been Say in older Fw bugtrackers...did anything change ?? No ,wait and see ! ,Ok ,i wait since fw006 now !!

No problem. I have had a lot of contact with the CEO. As per my post in " Minix Support". The CEO is doing his best to resolve all issues. Now at least we are getting comments and replies from Minix support staff, as in the reply from eric@minix this morning on FW008.
So, it looks like things are slowly moving in the right direction.

Perhaps, a little more patience for all of us?

Considering that this is not an official thread anyway, surely it's fair enough if Ralf opens a thread to share the bugs he found with FW007.
I know Minix are working on FW008, but until it gets released, why not share our bugs for those of us on FW007. With a bit of luck, Minix will have a look at this thread and use it as a to-do list?
I haven't had much time to play with my U22 box in months to be honest, so I haven't much feedback to share myself (e.g. bugs).

There is a long present bug I hope can be resolved in FW008.

"Enter" key on external keyboard (Logitech K400+) not working as expected. Problem is the Generic.kl file mapping (item 1 below). Deleting the file resolves the issue, however requires root.

Requested solution: Remove file /vendor/usr/keylayout/Generic.kl from the FW. Leave file 2 as is.

Generic.kl files included in FW006A and previous FW versions:
1) /vendor/usr/keylayout/Generic.kl which has key 28 = DPAD_CENTER
2) /system/usr/keylayout//Generic.kl has key 28 = ENTER

Hopeful this is a simple resolution that can be implemented. If this assumption is incorrect (i.e. - other impacts to removing file 1), I welcome that input/education.

Ok, I had a quick look, and some of the issues I reported before still seems there:
  1. When uninstalling an app, only the "O" side of the "OK" button works. Clicking on the "K" doesn't work. Some other buttons in other apps work fine, so it must be an issue with the GUI rather than with the remote driver. Not a biggie, I'm used to it now!
  2. When (trying to) play "Horizon Chase World Tour", textures are missing. See pics: the black areas are supposed to be textured (e.g. the road!). This issue was in previous versions too. Strangely, I haven't seen anyone else reporting such an issue with their box and/or apps. The game works fine on my U1. So not sure if its just me and/or just this game.
