The physical size is governed by the power rating.

Probably best to find an in-line type like this...

No space for that. The problem with the new adapter is that the plug is (maybe 2mm) thicker than the U1 version because of the interchangable plug.. It fits anyway in my box but not very comfortable

BIOS updated, and BEEP disabled.

Also, I suggest updating to our Windows 10 Pro [1903] image if you haven't done so yet:

And, it's possible to adjust the fan speed within the BIOS menu.

I updated the INTEL Audio driver as suggested in the forum and updated to Windows 1903 from using Windows Update.
