NEO U1 issues with VLC

Hi guys I am having troubles reproducing movies in VLC. I have the latest original rom based on Android 5.1
The issue essentially is that audio goes quicker than video so I am seeing it with audio and video out of phase. But it doesn't happen with Video MX player. It works great: smooth and accurate regarding audio & video.
What can be happening in my U1 box???

Hello. the same thing happened to me with u9-h and I cleared cache and it worked properly afterwards. try clearing cache or reinstalling vlc.
