Neo U1 max external HDD size / NAS

I would like to know what is the maximum suported external drive size and if NAS systems are supported by Minix Neo U1.

Dont know about max external drive size, but streaming from a NAS works excellently with Kodi on minix

You can connect it with Ethernet cable or Wifi. Your Nas and the Minix must be on the same Local Area Network (LAN).

Generally your NAS is connected to your router by ethernet cable.
Idealy your minix is connected to your router by ethernet ( or via a wired switch) but wifi also works.
Both minix and router should be on the same LAN
 
What about the max external size? Does anyone know how much is supported? I'm afraid to buy a 4 TB HDD drive and the Minix doesn't work with it.

I advice you to buy a NAS.
With NAS you can buy one, add more HDDs later and is the NAS hardware that has max supported HDD.
With NAS you always have acess from your local network (mobile devices, PCs, media hubs, etc) .
Take a look at this:

Once you understand it is the best device for centralize all your data.

Which manufacturer and model 4TB HDD are you using with your U1?

Is your HDD directly connected or are you using a USB hub with it too?

The specifics could help the OP and others ;)!
