Another update, plugged the U22 into an older Sony 42" LCD. Still have the lines
Also tried using different power adapter from my old Neo U1.
And the tried flipping every possible video related setting one by one in all Minix settings menus and the android Developer options menu.
But nothing worked. Did I get a lemon? What's the best way to get this resolved?
Return it to your point of retail for a refund or replacement .
And they MAY eventually work on the U22 but please be patient.... not everything can work as we want it to right out of the box on such a new deviceall this on my U9 works perfectly .... Thanks
I've just sent you a PM, the turn around time will be much quicker than a monthI need to get Minix to step up. I already gave them a second chance on this after ending software updates and support for the Neo U1 so quick after I bought it.
Now I'll have to ship the U22 back overseas. And it will take a month to ship. Then the replacement will take another month....god.

Not sure when you purchased your U1 as it was released in late 2015 and received 13 firmware updates over 2 years..... that's pretty darn good I would say!...... It's still a solid performer !
Ya I don't know but my U1 developed a video playback problem itself, where videos would play but there was an opaque green mask overlaying 80% of video. And for HTML5 video I would get an error, no playback. That was about 3 years ago so that timeline seems right. I tried flashing the unofficial Android 6 recently to bring it back, but no change, so I got the U22. I assumed the U1 was dead, but hearing that it's still usable for people, maybe I was just unlucky there too.
