Apologies for not fix the HD audio problem yet.
We're currently working on it with Amlogic.
We get several patches from Amlogic regarding HD audio recently, but it's not good enough, still have problems when it comes to passthrough Dolby TrueHD.

Hello ,is there a problème with ôta update 005 ? A personne from french community just received thé u22xj ,thé minix have 004 instaled out of thé package,he try to instal 005 but it says no update avaible ...so i just want give him manuel link for instal with pc...but thé link seems not work....you work on thé server ?

Just have the U22-XJ connected to the internet via Wi-Fi or Ethernet.
Run the “FOTA Update” app.
In the app, click 'Check for updates', then 'Upgrade'.

Certainly looks like the FOTA app.

If his U22 is able to receive a decent Wi-fi signal? Ask him to try temporarily disconnecting the ethernet & see what happens with the Wi-fi connection instead :). (As it actually recommends on the screen in the FOTA app ;). Although, fair enough if he doesn't understand any English.)

If he's using a VPN too, also try temporarily disconnecting that to initiate the update. As soon as it's (hopefully) completed, he can immediately revert back to his usual set up.

Lool your right ,i dont take attention on what is written on thé screen in thé rear ?? WIFI!!!
No hé dont speak english ,like thé most peopel from french Minix community....

He buy also Minix a3 backlit ,i have translate thé manuel (2lines ???) how to connect and calibrate...

Lol. Thankfully he has you to translate this time & forward the information to him to try updating using a Wi-fi connection instead :).

Ethernet or WiFi, it shouldn't make a difference.

I have always used Ethernet when updating!

Yeah same, I have WiFi disabled on my U22 so updates are always done via ethernet.

This sounds more like a manual flash has been done previously which has broken the FOTA somehow.

I just finish to help him ....
He make the connection on wifi , nothing..
He initialized thé box ,and try with wifi and RJ45 , nothing......it Always Say 004..no other update avaible ....

Finaly i call him for explain how to make manuel installation from 005 ..and assist him all steps..its ok now
I not understand what is going with this box ,004 préinstalled ..no way to update..?? maybe hé make something wrong when he connect the box and try update...at first Time

Unable to update via FOTA -- I just bought two (2) boxes.

Some other peopel have the same probleme...
The best thing to do is update manualy with pc (takes 5minutes )
