The best thing you can do with your Minix U22 is to sell it and never look back again.

It's shame.

The Neo U22-XJ is my first box from Minix and it will be my last Minix system. At least there should be some feedback from the Minix developers/support.

Minix u22xj ,annonced as the New flagship from minix in 2020 , 1,5 year out now and not working correctly ...

With a littel bit of chance the u22xj is ready and work correctly when the other manufacturer bring out the New boxes with New /better socket...

Next minix box better wait 3 years before buying it...

PS : i work 5 days in the week
8 hours every day
~ 22 days in the month
So :
22 days x 7 month = 154 days
154 days x 8 hours = 1232 hours
So i have work 1232 hours in this Time !!!
Question to minix team :
How many hours you work every day ?
How many hours you work on u22xj firmware every day ?

Sorry for asking but i have work more then 1000 hours in this Time ...1000 hours not enough for résolve some bugs on u22xj if one personne work on the firmware ??

Crazy to sée that slimbox have build a complet New Room in 2/3 month how works better as the original minix Room !!

I agree with what you wrote Ralf! Having had 3 Minix devices over the years, I can safely say that the Minix brand is dead for me. I will NEVER buy Minix products again and will never recommend to family, friends and colleagues to purchase Minix products. Bad software support for the U22 box. I feel teased ... too bad because before U22 I always got on well with Minix

Totally agree "baciok"! When they work U22's are great, but the amount of gliches and the lack of updates and fixes is pathetic. I'm waiting for my new Zidoo to arrive from UK, then Minix will be a thing of the past!

Which Zidoo did you order? Have looked at various models and not sure which one to go for.

I am not impressed with Zidoo Z10 pro, I had access for a weekend and was happy to return it and settle back with something I feel comfortable with and for the cost of a comparable model I can purchase two U22-XJ, and the U22 whilst having some niggling bugs works fine in my environment and meets my needs, I guess this sort of falls to it being a subjective choice, I maintain faith in the brand Minix.

The faith in the brand minix goes slowly away ...no communication about u22xj ,WE Know all that there Is the sound problem on all s922 boxes..but is this a reason to not résolve other bugs how are in the box ? Is this a reason for not answer questions here...?? For me its not a reason ...
Be quiet since months gives not a good impression about the minix company...

Hover over force stop button (About 1/5 of the right side of this button dead ? , ie no hand and nothing happens when clicked)
Press an active part of the Force Stop
Hover over the OK button (About 1/3 of the right side dead ?)

New u22, recieved last saturday.
I am gutted I had not read this post and wish I had bought through amazon instead of ebay, at least I could send it back.
I have 2 other minix boxes, x7 and u9 both excellent and going strong but let down by lack of app support, hence recent u22 purchase. I too am a loyal minix lover, waiting for ngc5 at the mo.

I am on FOTA 006a

2 main issues,

1.audio feedback. Audio out is line from headphone jack to external speakers. Buzzing can be heard, worse when on stand by. Also volume control on a2 lite controls the tv volume at the same time, this also happens with the minix ir remote. tv remote also controls the box vica verca but this started happening with my u9 too about 6 months ago.


2.Can not grab and hold things with the pointer of a2, using different launcher than provided, eg press and hold widget to add to home screen.

Any help and or suggestions welcome, thanks.
