Mine still chimes. But notifications like app updates, gmail etc just vanish.
Gmail pings on my phone,so no great issue there.
But I have to check out play store to see if there are updates. Plus other apps from Apk store are no longer notified, until happen to you use the app and it shows update available.

Just wish they had left the system alone in that regard. And fixed the mouse scrolling on some apps. Constantly having to switch across to the remote to scroll, particularly on filelinked. Still no copy and paste function.
Otherwise some improvements on this update. But there are bigger things in life to concern us right now. ??

Hope A stands for audio fix not another alpha version of FW. It takes way to long to get it work.

I expect it's just a fix to make FOTA work, similarly to how FW003A was released to fix the FOTA issue with FW003:

Personally, I successfully managed to update to FW006 via FOTA the day it was released, so not sure what made it break.

can enable DV on 2017 Oled model and still get the picture (anyone with a 2018 oled might be able to duplicate what you exprience, or probably try a factory reset?), anyway i don’t prefer that pseudo DV all the time, also keeping DV on in Android messes up the HDR playback in Coreelec (hdr videos get displayed with wrong color space, more purple tinted image).

have an oled myself
in minix settings you can switch off "always on dv".
then android or corelec is only on dv (our hdr) if the video source has hdr.
