Official NEO U9-H: 008FW

Hi

I have a problem with the flashing of my minix neo u9-h.

i have a windows 10 PC and i had dowload de .zip with the burning tool, i had install de program with no problem (several times), but when i load the .img file the line that supose to appear did not, but the button start/Stop change to start.

anyone have an idea of what is happening??

i tried with the .img of the first post and also with the images of the betas but none works.

(i flash mi minix neo x7 in the past with these computer and have no problem)

i follow that indications but when i do the step 4 (Go to ‘File’ > ‘Import image’, and load the image from the folder. ) i select the .img file and i see the popup to wait until charge the image, but when it finish there is no HUB Line like in the video, and i can´t go on

is there any way i can see if the drivers are installed correctly?? i allow it in the first installation withou problem but just in case

Are you using the USB cable supplied with the U9?

Have you tried another USB port on your PC?

Which version of Windows are you running?
 
Yes, i am using the supplied cable but i don´t have it connected when i have the problem (because it happend before, or do i have to have it connected all the time??)

Please view again step 6 in the tutorial.

Try also another usb port in the PC (not usb 3.0)

Yes, I've always connected the micro USB to the PC first (if memory serves lol), then begin the rest of the flashing process from step 1 in the official guide.

See if that makes a difference. Otherwise, try other USB ports available on your PC if possible.

Failing all of that, got another PC/laptop you could use?
 
Finally I flashed the minix, the line that should appear in the flash_tool (Like in the video) did not appear, but when the button change to "START" after loading the image I press the on button for 6 seconds and the line appear and connect the minix with the flash_tool, then press the start button and wait.

And which machine did you buy two years ago that is now working flawlessly with OTA updates with Android 9, may I ask?

EDITED: But also you say that you can now buy a new machine with Android 9 and it has updates for 1 year? Did I read that correctly?...
How about the Nvidia Shield. Even the $49 Xiomi Mi Box has updated itself to Android 8.1

Minix is in my opinion the best techonlogy company in minipcs, media hubs, etc.
It has a great client support, excelent quality and useful updates.
 
My MINIX died on me. tried everything even the FW update and i got Romcode/Switch status/Check connect/Enum device error when running the burning tool.
the blue light is on but noting is happening
