Neo X6 copy/paste?

Hi all

I´m new in the world of Android Media boxes.
I found 2 Neo X6 boxes in my cellar. I got them as part of a marketing campaign, but never used them.
Now I do want to use them. Because the boxes were equipped with a custom Android of that company, with a lot of ads on it etc.... I decided to install the latest Android version available.
Finally I made it, but now have a bunch of questions.

The 1st one is setup now as I want it. And all those updates are made. Can I somehow copy the whole firmware from the 1st to the 2nd?
I simply dont want to redo all that again, incl. detailed settings in some of my Apps....
 
In the root it works, with Tickle my android, ADB Tool or Android Studio.
I believe. When you get into the root shell, just copy it with the img command and upload it to another ??????
But I think you had to put both in root earlier. I don't know how it might be easier today. You could save your own img as a custom rom and then try to put the root back to unroot ????

For Amlogig there is also armbian img, I think you can also find it on freaktab.
Marty, haven't tried this yet but I think it's older OS.
Do you know if the twrp can also be flashed?

There are three versions, ubuntu, ubuntu Mate for S 802 805 Amlogig boxes armbian. img.
 
Alright Marty, but others read this too and can possibly still have a little fun with the x6? I feel a bit silly about this part x6 for the price and only kept it as a spare part, housing for the z64. Now I'm looking at what I can somehow get out of the x6 and want to help others to have some fun with it
 
Small senior but with things that work. My aim is to at least try to help the hard-working people. Not everyone has the time to google and family. I don't have the money to buy new and better all the time, and neither do other hard-working people. Or only a little money, so I prefer to search for many solutions. Please and all help, I don't mind if you make fun of what I write, Does it have to work to help the poor, no matter how? Digitization should be the future. Why is this post still in the forum when it is old. Minix the PC of unlimited possibilities ???

I was definitely not making fun of you, I was making fun of myself in that I did not notice how old the post was, a senior moment for me.

We appreciate all the help and advice you give here on the forum, keep it up (y)
