not really sure what your screenshots are telling me.

The downloaded file shoiuld contain the new img file for burning and a further rar file that contains the burning tool ( I use WinRar )

Hello folks been a while... Can I just ask I. Just setting up after loading final lollipop is that right there is no ethernet option only wifi.... I don't have ethernet plugged in but will have once I've run them through.

ethernet should work fine...best to turn wifi off when using ethernet
 
I have a box NEO X8-H Plus with 011FW (20170119) [Final KitKat OS Firmware].

Can i update Lollipop OS Firmware [20170612] by OTA.

In #1 of this thread The Tutorial Video said a thumbtack to push in the recovery hole and then hold the power button down for on the screen a connection. But the file attachments minix-neo-x8-h-plus-firmware-installation-instructions-pdf doesn't mention this procedure.

I want my box with Lollipop OS but will not be a brick.

Can you help me more details.

you are right, the attachement nneds to be updated to reflect the fact you need to press in the reset button as well as per video
 
make sure the "world cup" driver installed when you installed the Burning Tool, if not uninstall and reinstall

try different combinations of usb cables and USB2.0 ports...it can be problematic to get a connection
 
All set up with lollipop kodi 17.6 running fine with the latest reps... IPlayer etc run great don't use Netflix so can't comment however spotify and the social network app band are impossible to sign in to as my Logitech k400 mouse will not seem to work on these apps tried all different settings and there are not many to play with... Will keep tinkering but lollipop has brought my minix back up to where it was a great machine... Great to have the group back thank you folks.

You need to set Screen rotation to force land.

I have only found 1 cable and USB port on my Win10 laptop that works by trial and error :mad:
