NEO X8-Plus won't boot

Hello. I’m in need of some help. Similar to what another member stated, my neo x8-h won’t reboot and when connecting to the laptop I receive the message on the attached file.

You are trying to flash firmware for the X8-H Plus which is not compatible with your X8-H.
 
Appreciate your observation. Is there anywhere I can get firmware for my device or it can’t be updated to lollipop?
 
So I got a measure of success. I did receive a file to work with my minix X-8 box. The unfortunate situation is that now my box seems to be dead. I followed the instruction which were nicely written, but now the box won’t come on. ?. HELP

Which file and what instructions?
 
I used the second link, copied the image file on that one. Success message received after using the burning tool 2.09 and the box never started.

Just to clear any confusion could you please check the underside of your unit and confirm what you have. Initially you said X8-H and now X8, we need to know this before we can help you any further.
 
Thanks. Data already lost so any suggestions from the capable tech guys here I’m sure will help. I’ll be sure to check it out.

Apps. like the two you mentioned are frowned upon here so keep those between yourself ;):)
 
What’s does everyone else use. Tried the Kodi install
. Sadly got an error stating it wasn’t connecting
 
you are trying to install a kodi build ( which is not reccomended nor can be discussed here) that is at an outdated url
