NEO Z83-4: Computer RESTART always goes into BIOS instead of loading Windows

Foe about 3 months now, whenever I RESTART my MINIX Z83-4 it boots into the BIOS instead of loading Windows. So I have to exit the BIOS every time to continue to load Windows, which of course is very inconvenient. Booting up from a Shutdown state boots into Windows OK (without going into the BIOS).

I have checked the Boot Priorities in the BIOS and everything looks good to me:
1. Hard Disk: Windows Boot Manager
2. UEFI AP: UEFI: Built-in EFI Shell
3. USB Hard Disk
4. etc.

To my knowledge I have not changed anything to cause this strange problem which I did not have in the previous 3 years or so. I am on Windows v2004.

Has anybody encountered this situation? and how did you resolve it?
Can someone in the MINIX team please help me to fix this problem?

Note: I have seen posts on the internet (not to do with the MINIX but generally other computers) that sometimes a bad/low battery can cause this problem. However I don't think this is my problem: my battery seems to be OK, it is keeping time OK, etc.

Any help will be much appreciated.

Hi.
Try this: (for now)
-Put the BIOS with default settings
-Save and exit
-Restart device

If the problem continues maybe is a good idea to replace the CMOS.

Note:
Check if the BIOS can keep your saving settings.

Thank you for your quick response and suggestions!

Before resetting the BIOS, I tested if it is keeping any changed settings, and it is (so I changed one setting, and the change was there when I re-entered BIOS).

I then reset the BIOS and my problem was still there - still entering BIOS on computer RESTART instead of loading Windows. I reset the BIOS twice actually (just in case!) and same result.

Up until this time my BIOS version was 1.6 (out of the box version, bought 2.5 years ago). I hadn't updated it to the latest version (1.8) with the thinking "If it ain't broke, don't fix it". So I was curious to see if my problem would be fixed if I updated the BIOS. Unfortunately my problem was still there even after updating the BIOS to the latest version 1.8!

I don't know if you, or anybody else for that matter, has any other suggestions?

And just in case I gather up the courage to replace the CMOS battery eventually (not just yet but as a last resort only) can somebody give me the specifications for the CMOS battery? I need to make sure I can find it in the country I am in before going that far.

Thank you for all the help.
