NEO Z83-4: Converting Mini DisplayPort Signal to HDMI **Active Adapter Required**

Hello,

I am new to the Minix world and I am trying to set up dual Dell U2412M monitor's.

Monitor 1 - I am using DisplayPort (from monitor) to MDP (Minix)
Monitor 2 - I am using DisplayPort (from monitor) to HDMI (Minix)...no adapter or anything, just a single wire.

Minix does not seem to recognize the HDMI input, do i need an adapter even though not MDP?

Am I missing anything?

I bought the following from Amazon with no result:

The Minix Mini DP works fine but I cannot get the HDMI port to recognize the monitor, even if the MDP is unplugged.
Can the HDMI be used on a computer monitor by itself?

Please note, the HDMI port on NEO Z83-4 only supports a direct HDMI-to-HDMI connection.
 
Hello Everyone,

I would like to connect 2 monitors to my new MINIX NEO Z83-4 Plus PC but unfortunately it does not seem to be easy.
Monitor 1 - I connect HDMI from the monitor to the PC with a simple HDMI cable (works perfectly)
Monitor 2 - I connect HDMI from the monitor, have this HDMI to MDP (that works perfectly with my macbook pro to use both monitors) cable but that does not seem to recognize the second monitor.
If I only try to connect to the Mini Display Port, 1 monitor, still doesn't work. I have checked all the drivers and everything but cannot seem to find what the issue is.
Please, please help me find a solution because I'm loving this mini pc but I need both monitors for work.
