Hello, we are using MINIX NEO Z83-4 devices in our projects. Now we have problem in Windows 10 with classical RJ-245 gigabit ethernet adapter - it does not work, also it is misssing in devices list. Wifi is ok, but can not access classical cable RJ-245. We have try to look in BIOS but didnt find any network settings. Please can you help me find the sollution how make this device live ? No undetected devices in the device list. Adapter is missing ... Thank you in advance for your kind help.

Appears to me that he is saying the Ethernet adapter device driver is missing.Are you saying that the RJ45 "hole" is missing on your box ?

@mirazbira if the problem you have is rj45 device driver run windows update and test.
You can also check - scan for hardware changes in device manager.

I got the impression he's saying the ethernet adapter is completely missing from the Device Manager console. (It should be listed under "Network Adapters", (Realtek PCIe GBE Family Controller).)

Hello guys. Thanks for reply. I am not saying RJ port is physically missing in the device ! I say it is missing in the devices console in Windows. Now I found "Realtek" device is hidden. But I dont know absolutely why and how make it visible. Try to reinstall drivers but without result. Now I try reinstall whole Windows.

Hopefully it's just a missing/corrupted driver.
Let us know if a fresh installation fails too. Would probably indicate a hardware failure.
I have just updated Windows build on 1903 and have the same problem. Realtek is not in the list (see picture). Do you think it is a hardware failure or should I try something else ? In the previous build was hidden, now it is not visible absolutely .... I have reinstall drivers, no "pending" devices without driver in the list ...

You've just used Windows Update to update your existing Win to 1903 & it wouldn't address this particular issue. All you've done there is updated Windows itself.
What you really need to try is a completely fresh install of the official MINIX Win 10 image for the Z83-4. (1809 is the latest available version.)

Same result. The same screen and adapter is missing. As in previous situation in other builds.

No sollution. Because the device was under warranty, I returned device to our local supplier. They returned money back. We tried everything - old Windows images, reinstall all drivers, etc .... If you are looking for a solution try writing to minix support, but I'm not sure it can be solved. If it is the same defect as in our case.
