Use NFS. Set the shared folders as NFS on the NAS, then using Kodi, add them to your library

Well I’m still playing around but the cool thing is all my TVs have found it and go to folders music, video ....now I have to figure out how to get stuff in them

If you're using Windows just drag & drop or copy & paste, same with other OS's .

Unless you have some other meaning.....

...In Kodi you just add the NAS or specific directories such as video or music as sources. Once set, any files you add to the NAS/directories will be scanned into Kodi's library automatically when Kodi starts, or you can manually update the library too .

Note in the guide below replace xmodulo with u9-h
and needs to enable Samba Server in Minix network settings

The Samba server option is perfectly fine if you prefer it .

However, FYI you can also simply use an app like File Commander on your U9-H, (it's just an Android file explorer with a few extra abilities). From the app you can connect to your NAS as you would using Windows Explorer, then just copy & paste your download files from Kodi over to the NAS . Simples.

It may come in useful anyway even if you go the Samba server route .

i kept trying to figure out to log in the plex server from within the app on the nas... once i read that you have to log into the server through a browser to config its worked like a champ. All my samsungs have the plax app so video is flowing! rough journey for someone who isnt very technical but im glad i did it!
