Antonio, i've been using your roms for awhile, THNX SO MUCH for the work you put in
do to the large nr of releases (wow!!!!), i have a kind request, it would be great to post a couple of screenshots for every rom you release, to avoid flashing the box not knowing what to expect, please

Hey guys, been a long time lurker here but yesterday i wanted to buy a new media player. I then remembered that i had the minix U9, however its been stuck on libreelec and i need the streaming apps so hopped in here and so slimboxtv. My question is, do the streaming apps support HDR?because if flashed it and downloaded the apps but they play in SD or 720p it seems without HDR being triggered on my monitor as i need a new streaming device to hook up to my oled monitor..Great work on the slimbox though especially antonio with his files

The U9-H never had the proper Widevine certifications for HD (and HDR) playback in streaming apps, even on the original firmware. There are some APK files you can find for Netflix or other apps that may circumvent this, but I've found that that often doesn't really work either. There are also Kodi add-ons for some streaming services, but I'm not sure what resolutions those support.

I know it's a bit late to ask now, but did you try flashing the firmware before doing the soldering mod?
Also, why did you bother to do the soldering mod?

Yes. I tried before soldering and got the same error.
About soldering, the hard work is done now I'm have to solve this flashing problem... lol...

After changing the cable and USB port it worked. But the P2 audio output is not working
