New Minix Neo J50C-4 not booting up.

Morning Guys.

I have bought a brand new J50C-4 V2 with the stock 4gb DDR4 and it will not boot up.

1.Powers on.
2.Blue led on, fan high revs
3.1 beep after approx 1second then fan goes low revs.

Then nothing else, have tried reset DDR.

It this the correct power up proceedure.

Any help or tips guys please...desparate now.

You are powering on correctly but the failing to boot is not normal. Are you just getting a black screen? Do you see the Minix Boot logo? How did you reset the DDR?

What TV/Monitor is your unit connected to, how are you connecting to the TV/Monitor?

Can you access the boot menu by hitting the F11 key on boot? If so maybe a flash is in order:

I found the answer, go into the tv settings and look for the HDMI UHD Colour settting and turn it off for that HDMI port, all worked for me after trying different leads and HDMI ports.

Setings, General, External Device Manager, HDMI UHD Color and turn it off the hdmi port the minix is connected to.
