Do you need Android or it doesn't matter ?

This one could be a great choice :

The MINIX NEO G41V-4 mini passive PC (successor to the MINIX NEO N42C-4) includes an Intel Celeron N4100 Quad core processor that includes an Intel UHD Graphics 600 GPU. The RAM is 4GB DDR4 2400Mhz, not expandable, while At storage level we have 64GB of eMMc storage memory that can be expanded thanks to an M.2 SATA slot accessible from the lower area. Includes in wireless connectivity WiFi aC 2 × 2 MIMO Dual Band with internal antenna and Bluetooth 4.2.

As for ports we have 4 USB 3.0, a Gigabit network connector, audio jack, microSD card reader and triple video output with an HDMI 2.0a, VGA and DisplayPort port. This model has a new design of the upper part with air outlet and anti-dust net, is compatible with the VESA anchor without screws of MINIX and will bring Windows 10 installed. Without doubt a very interesting solution for digital signage.

As @Skynet said could be a great choice.
It has triple video output, more than you need ☺, of course the OS is windows instead of android....

Nice :)

God willing...
U22 is valuable to me, but I gained something much more valuable than U22 here:
Good friends like you

So it's looking like the U22 will definitely be your next media hub then Reza :)???

Hope you can get your planned AVR upgrade properly sorted out too for a reasonable price. With the addition of a U22 and a new 4K AVR you'll be well on your way to a very nice home theater system :).

I certainly can't wait to give one a try, they really do sound like an awesome package overall :). Don't get me wrong, I love my U9-H's and they have outstanding stability, I often don't even need to reboot them for many weeks on end. They're not at all slow but by modern standards not particularly quick anymore either ;). (Not that it's a problem anymore since I switched over to using MySQL with my NAS boxes for the database aspect of Kodi anyway. However, it used to take the U9-H 45 - 60 minutes just to clean my movie library when the library was actually native to the U9-H, (granted my library was quite large). (Thankfully, the same task now only takes approx 90 seconds with MySQL from the NAS lol.). The U9-H can also get a little bogged down when using certain (legal) add-ons in Kodi such as the "extended info" script. Just a couple of examples and they're not annoying and neither am I complaining, they're merely observations ;).). Am looking forward to how the U22 will handle that kind of tasking.

No doubt, the U22 will just storm through processing data that makes the U9-H a touch "hesitant" lol ;). It's going to be an absolute beast :)!!

Fingers crossed that everything remains on schedule for MINIX and may its development be smooth sailing right to the end :)!!!

It is indeed a powerful device.
It has high specs and i hope the software can keep up with the excelent hardware.
My expectations is that yes ☺
Minix has always a great software for the devices like the hardware of course.
As @ArcticWolf said the " beast " is an appropriate name ?

Looking forward to the release of the T5 and U22 !!

A few questions... will either have voice control through the remote ? And what are the pros and cons of AndroidTV vs Android ? This will help make it easier to decide.

I actually need two units, one for my mother and one for myself. Mom will need an 'easier to use' box similar to the cable that she's used to.
For myself I'd need a box that will play .ISO files as I have a large collection of my movies/tv series in ISO format and the ability to connect my 8TB HD to the box via USB port.

Thanks....

The AndroidTV might be a more remote friendly solution, especially for a person that never used such a device before.
