NGC-5 USB-C Video Output (Dual Monitors)

P.S no signal detected with the NEO SG4 either, seems the NGC-5 has some trick to make the USB-C push out video. The NEO SG4 and the Dual Display Dock above both work flawlessly with my Huawei Mate 20 Pro go figure....

I never tested dual display but we need the NGC-5 drivers.

I am currently with windows 11 (installed from scratch) and i have missing drivers.

Maybe with the correct display drivers you will have sucess.

You will not believe it..............

So, with the NEO SG4's HDMI attached to the second monitor and the NEO SG4's USB-C plugged into the NGC-5's USB-C port I removed the power cable from the NGC-5, pushed and held the power button for 30 seconds, plugged the power back in and restarted, both my monitors fired up......pure awesomeness!!

God bless Google, and God bless this chap!! <=click

P.S still doesn't work with the Dual Display Dock but that's ok because it was meant for the work laptop anyway. I'm just happy to have dual display with my NGC-5 (y)

Just as I posted here a few days ago...
The USB-C port does not support 'hot plugging', a USB-C cable or adapter should only be connected/disconnected when the NEO N42C-4 is powered off.
Different device but same reason!

Why do people not read User Guides?

My situation was not about hot plugging, it would not detect a signal from reboot/powered off to powered on etc....

And just what gender exactly do you think I am that I might be needing to read a manual or user guide......(he says beating his chest)

I think he might have been questioning your species rather than your gender pmsl ;).

Have you tried turn the USB-C male port upside down, and connect it to NGC-5 again?
Please note, USB-C port on NGC-5 does NOT support hot-plug.
You need to make sure the USB-C port is properly connected before you boot the NGC-5.
I tested an SG4 today, works OK. It's wired that yours does not.

I noticed my NGC-5 was no longer allowing me to use a second monitor as well; I use a Virzen USB C portable monitor as my second monitor (link to monitor on Amazon). Holding down the power button for 30 seconds and then restarting as per the above link posted by @Marty in post #5.

However, I just tried to connect via the standard size display port and that is not working either. I've double checked my connections and my d-port to HDMI adaptor and all are function on other computers. Any thoughts on the display port?
