NGC-5 - Windows 11 Pro OS image [21H2]

I have acess to the files but I was unable to boot (and install) this image (with the normal procedures).
Normal procedures (example for N42C-4):

How i did to install this image: (pen USB)
1-I downloaded first the image from the website
2-I used cd burner XP and i converted to ISO (vew attached files)
(you need to select data disc, add the files to the compilation and after that save compilation as ISO file)
3-With the ISO saved i used rufus 3.5 (to create a bootable usb) (attached file)
I had to use this configuration
4-Reboot the minix and keep pressing f11 to boot from the USB

You can try this :
Download the great Ventoy : https://www.ventoy.net/en/doc_news.html
Install it on an USB pendrive (backup your data before)
Create a folder with name you want
Copy your ISO inside
Boot the USB pendrive
Enjoy !

Of course the ISO file must be valid.

Keep Ventoy, it's really a must have, maybe the best tech tool ever.

I already tested that.
It did not work.

I also use ventoy. I love it ?.
Ventoy works with others files (ISO) but that in particular did not work for me.

Note:
I haven't used the latest ventoy release but that shouldn't be the problem, judging by the changelog (in the latest releases).
So many updates that ventoy is getting ?

Yes i followed that tutorial.
And the ISO i created is not broken: ( i used the same method from my post #2)
-NGC-5 with rufus 3.5 worked
-J50C-4 plus with rufus 3.5 worked (i also tested this):

I will investigate that better :)
It is easier using ventoy (wih all the images inside).
I will also test my converted ISOs on a virtual machine.

The problem i had with ventoy was: (NGC-5 converted ISO)
-the ISO was recogized (on the menu) but i selected and did not install

I think my problem with ventoy was : (partition style)
I used MBR

With rufus i was able to install because i used GPT

I will try again and use ventoy with GPT
 
I tested again:
-My converted iso with ventoy (this time with GPT and secure boot enable, fresh install) and it did not work.
It loads the menu but after i select the image it stops and don´t install :(

Well if i have to use my converted NGC-5 ISO i will use rufus again, i don´t know what is the problem but ok.

I already converted other MINIX images (other devices) to ISO, i will test that later (with ventoy).

In this particular device (and image) Maybe one of the problems using ventoy is secure boot (i need to disable secure boot on the BIOS).
Ventoy did not work with secure boot enable (BIOS).

Note:
Ventoy works well for me:
-Microsoft images (i tested a few)
-Ubuntu

Today i tested ventoy with folders. (I can also rename the files but that i already knew)
It works well, thank you , i was not aware of this ? (folders).
I also tested ventoy with one HD (external usb) it works well ?.
I think i also tested ventoy with neo storage (and i think it also works) ?

You need to use a different approach:

You don´t need to reset BIOS to default options

I have tried today to use the NGC5 Win11 image using ventoy and failed miserably :(

Could either of you write an idiots guide for me from start to finish to include how to make the ISO file from the downloaded zip file , what options to use in the ventoy tool and any naming conventions that have to be followed etc.

It would be greatly appreciated (y).

MINIX images (all that i tested, NGC-5, J50C-4, G41V-4, ...) don't work with ventoy (even with .ISO format)
To use MINIX images you need to use RUFUS (for example). (See my post #2).

Ventoy works:
With Microsoft images (for example).

Well, i updated Win10 to Win11 from Win10 directly.

Have you tried the last Ventoy version AND disabled all security in NGC-5 bios ?
