no audio after upgrade

Hi just upgraded to 7.1.2. Using cpl menu video s playing ok but there is no audio changed cables no joy any ideas
 
hi updated as instructions all working except i cannot get the audio to work tried different cables and audio settings but no joy

updated to what ?
what is your audio equipment setup and how is it connected
post screenshots of your minix audio settings
what app are you using where audio doesnt work , and post screenshots of app audio settings
 
updated u9h firmware to android 7.1.2 hdmi out to a 4k avr i am not seeing any sound formats ie dts true hd and so on

PS no sound at all or menu noises when navigating

I dont have a U9h with 7.1.2 on anymore but when i did only sound issue using Kodi was aac5.1 coming out as stereo, otherwise fine.

You just need to get all your audio settings right , go through them all in minix settings and kodi, make sure you are selecting HDMI ( or maybe auto, cant remember) for audio out and that the volume on the remote is full on.

please is there any solution around broken audio after upgrading to 7.1.2? I have exactly the same problem as described above by frankie13. System sounds (ringtone, notification) are normally functional from all audio outputs (HDMI, optical SPDIF, 3.5mm Stereo jack), but from other application (MediaCenter, Kodi,....) there is no audio output on any physical output from the box (HDMI, optical SPDIF, 3.5mm Stereo jack).
