On screen Keyboard bug

Is it just me or we can't use the direction keys + return on the on-screen keyboard using A2/A3 remote? Instead we have to use the mouse over the keyboard and select the key.
This used to work as i remember and i even flashed the 0007 firmware but it's the same.

I can actually scroll through the stock virtual keyboard's keys using the D-pad on an A3. However, using the enter button fails to select a key & it just closes the on-screen keyboard.

Haven't had a chance to test an A2 Lite yet but would assume the result would be the same.

Thanks for your reply so it's not just me. I have both A2 Lite and A3 and same bug. I can swear that it worked sometime. Can it be the MCU update ? Didn't updated anything else and we can't downgrade MCU.

It's unlikely the MCU would be a factor.

On the U9-H that's a microcontroller that essentially controls auto-power on etc.

If you aren't currently using a 3rd party keyboard, you could try one (such a Gboard), see if it will work as you'd like with that.

@Villa, some of us have strange languages requiring strange caracters that are not possible to reproduce with the A series remotes (ç á à ã õ ó) but the stock on-screen would not be my choice for this as it is also limited in this area. Gboard is my choice, it has the ability of smart writing (but it can also be a pain sometimes when it decides it knows a word better than we do...:ROFLMAO:). In a large screen it can be shortened to not become too invasive (not quite successfully I must say) , but of course the remote keyboard has what it takes for English writing.

I'm curious to know why you'd want to use the on-screen keyboard?

Even though MINIX replaced my original A3 that went loopy, the replacement has started to do what the original did for some reason :(.

Sometimes the symbols on the A3's keyboard aren't where they're supposed to be so I need the onscreen symbols. I'd prefer the A3 alone but sadly I seem to have a serious gremlin with "dynamic symbols". I'm not going to factory reset for that issue alone lol ;).
