So, I have had my unit for over a month and have been pretty much disappointed in its's use. The first thing I noticed was when connected to the HDMI cable ALL funcntions on my remotes do not work. For what ever reason, vol control Air Mouse controls will not work the way they should. It'gets glitchy at times where it will freeze up and you have to wait to proceed. The biggest problem is the biggest issue. I sub to premium service and lately it will not show te sources it should. My UH-9 works perfect and has no issues. I bought the U22 for enhanced features which don't seem to work. It has the latest firmware update so this shouldn't be the issue. I'm kind of confused on why there are so many problems. Maybe only my unit or ? I thought it was moew of a plug and play like my U9. Any suggestions or maybe a newer version might be the answer. I unhooked it until I can figure it out. Thanks
 
I agree with @Pingouin it is worth hanging on as Minix have a proven track record of firmware updates that constantly improve their units. I bet you would not have liked the U9-H when it was first released, it took 8 firmware updates to get it to where it is today, rock solid. I have no doubt the U22 will become a sought after unit in the very near future.

Regarding your premium service, I do not see how this is related to the hardware or software of the U22, are you saying your U9-H pulls more sources using said service than the U22 does?

Yes! The u22 doesn't pull any at all, whereas the U9 does what it's supposed to do, many, may sources. Now the U22 does pull sources but not premium ones. Very strange. I have tried at least 10APKs and U9 yes, U22 no

What is this premium service?
Which apps do you use with it?

If you use a modded app, I noticed that a couple of modded apps I tried worked fine on my X8H Plus and U1, but not on the U22. My guess was that the later version of Android on the U22 somehow disables apps mods (?!?). I didn't investigate further as I didn't really need the mods anyway, and this is getting well beyond my understanding of how Android works.
So my guess is that if you use an IPTV modded app to unlock premium channels, when you load the m3u list you won't see the premium channels because the mod is not working properly.
 
Real Debrid and whatever APK is out there. But, went back in today and it seem to be working fine. Pulls up multiple sources free and paid. Tempermental hardware

Hardware affecting RD.. I wouldn't think it has anything to do with the hardware?! :unsure:

But really how many people haven't had some issues. Doesn't mean it's a bad unit but still improvements are needed to make it perfect. But curious what other conclusion would you make? Any insight would be appreciated. Thanks
