Been told to wait for update via FOTA. Update for 20200612 has not appeared since Marty told me to wait. When will this happen. Do not want to manually do this since it crashed my box before.

Firstly, please connect the device to the internet and run "F.O.T.A Update" app.
Click the button below and send me a screenshot.

Secondly, please let me know what country you're in,
and let me know the serial number. (At the bottom of the device)

I flashed a device with FW003 and successfully updated via FOTA twice, 003A & 004.

Now I get "The current version is the latest version."

I just bought a U22-XJ myself, unboxed it when I got home today and have the exact same problem. The box came with FW003 and just like Villa I upgraded successfully twice, first to 003A and then to 004. But the FOTA app doesn't seem to find the 005 update, I also get the message "Current version is the latest version."

Martin, do you still need our countries and serials to be able to troubleshoot? It seems strange that the upgrades to 003A and 004 work for us but not to 005 so probably not related to country or serial? But do let us know if you need it.

same as above

new purchase U22-XJ
successfully updated OTA to 20200612 - V004_20200612-1153
"Current version is the latest version."

Hi Martin, if you still need the screenshots please pm me and I will send.

For me, the opposite happened: my box had FW003, I couldn't FOTA update to FW004 so had to use the USB burning tool to install it, but once I did, I was able to FOTA update to FW005!

While getting 005 via the FOTA app is certainly the priority here I can't help but also wonder- does a fw upgrade OTA really have to jump through every fw that has been released before arriving at the latest one? I was surprised to have to jump through both 003A and 004. Getting the latest fw must be the most common use case? Or is the process deliberately set up like that to allow anyone to "stop" at their desired fw version and not have to do a manual install of an older fw, with the hassle of losing config and apps in the process? Anyway, hoping for a solution for 005 via the FOTA app very soon! (I tried again just now and it still insists that 004 is the latest version.)

Also I could update to v005. After this update Vulkan status changed from "not available" to "1.1", now I can see films from my internet sites. Nova launcher is still not working properly. I hope it will be fixed in the next update.

Has v006 been removed from OTA update? Or any known server issues? Tried to update just now from v004 but OTA does not detect, says firmware is up to date. Anyone else having similar issue updating? Have tried troubleshooting with suggestions posted here but no luck. I know manual install is an option but would be nice to have OTA updates working as it did previously for updates up to v004. FYI I didn't update to v005 at the time given the issues identified in the bugtracker, v004 was stable enough for my use
