Play Store apps on Android TV

Hi all,

Loving the Minix Android products so far and I'm interested in buying the T5.
However, before I do so, I need to know two things.
1. Can I install apps from the Play Store like on the previous Minix devices?
2. If yes on Q1, are there apps that might not work, like VPN apps and such?

You have to know that this is not an Android. It's an androidTV which means that it's very simplified and not all of the apps are possible/ optimised for running on such a system.

Thank you for your replies. In that case, I think this device is not for me. I'll go for the latest Android TV box from Minix than.

Latest android tv device from minix is T5.

U22-XJ is not available yet.
