Please check headphone output

Since I could not get an answer to my question earlier, I ask the lucky owners of MINIX NEO U22-XJ to check the possibility of listening at the same time stereo sound with headphones when outputting 5.1 audio to HDMI / receiver.

I would be grateful for any help.

I can confirm that as long as you connect the headphones through cable to the headphones socket in the Minix U22-XJ you will have sound on both sources, HDMI and headphones at the same time.

Connecting headphones through bluetooth will stop the sound out of the HDMI.

Thank You very much , CybeRider ,Is this tested when outputting multi-channel audio?

Multi-channel audio settings, diverse multi-channel audio files and different players. On Kodi 18.6 the audio output was tested selecting the several channels range from 2.0 to 7.1, and using audio Passthrough after that. The result was invariably the same: the analog socket is separate from the HDMI, there will be audio in both all the time, no matter what audio you put through it, and meaning that you will always get audio in the headphones when you connect them to the headphones socket by wire.

However, when you connect a set of headphones by bluetooth you will cut the audio out of the HDMI and also from the analog headphones socket, meaning you won't be able to hear any sound from a second set of headphones connected by wire to the output headphones socket in the box for as long as the bluetooth headphones are connected.

Unfortunately. So maybe once that situation is addressed we will have to repeat the testing for the headphones, so far I believe all will be good.
