Although you can't actually set the device to portrait!

If a particular apps intent is to display in portrait then original will display it in portrait.
middle port will display it in a vertical letterbox.

I tried using a screen orientation app and it only gives you portrait displayed as a vertical letterbox in landscape.

Im trying to get the Xibo app to show in Portrait mode and non of the options in Minix will do, Xibo is set to portrait mode but still it wont show, I get the portrait mode in a landscape screen, if you understand what i mean. the picture is in the middle of the screen and black on the sides.

Have you tried the screen rotation setting set to original ?

Exactly! Actually, trying with Instagram using original it tilts the screen to what would be a vertical display. Middle port is great to watch Instagram, or other apps intended for vertical screens, with the Minix on the regular TV, and the other landscape displaying apps will still show correctly.
