Power LED in Blue, nothing shown on output

Hi,

The power LED is showing Blue (permanent). But output is not showing anything. I tried reboot the device, at one point I see the Minix logo booting, but then it went to black screen.

Now the output just not showing anything. I tried different HDMI cable, different HDMI port, different TV. But it just doesn't show anything on screen. But the Blue LED is is On.

I also tried power cycle for more than 5 minutes.

Any help?
 
From the off state press and hold the power button and slowly count to 20 during which time you should see a black screen with a set of options on the LH side, from the choices offered might I suggest too that you choose to restart and see if this option resolves the issue, if not repeat and my next choice would be to clear cache, and again reboot, if still unsuccessful the option I would go for would be to reset the system, this will if the unit is recoverable rebuild the factory image but all your settings and added apps will be lost, you will be back to out of the box factory image. Please think about these suggestions and do so from your own understanding, this is just my advice.

tried press and hold, but nothing displayed on my TV. How do I factory reset?
 
Did you minix u9 work before ?

Another suggestion would be to connect up as usual, and just unplug and replug the hdmi connector on the minix after you see the minix logo.

It may have been set to a manually higher resolution than that of your current TV(s)

Yes, been using the device for some time. I don't get to see the minix logo all the time, it was just that one time. Now I don't see it anymore.
 
You may be chasing your tail it seems.

Maybe a power supply issue, can you source an alternative but take care to get the correct voltage/amps.

If a least you can get a blue light a factory reset/reinstall firmware may be possible and your only readily available options to revive

Just thought that seems the blue LED is on (not blinking), might not be PSU problem. Anwyay will try to get another power adapter. Thanks.
