Power On/Off my Neo Z83-4 plus & W2 remote

I cannot switch this Z83 on with the Neo w2 control,,,,, i have to use the on/off button to switch it on, then use the Neo w2 to turn off windows, but thats it ? my z83 is mounted high, and its a pain in the A to climb up and use the button to switch it back on if I want to use it again, in other words, I cannot use my control to power the z83 on and off like my Neo U1 in the main room. Can I use the Z83 without win 10, Can I use it like my Neo U1,,,,,, is the Z83 pre loaded with apps, if so, how to access them, without the windows app taking over, do I get rid of the Z, and go back to another U1, which both are great machines, I have a desk top computer (win 10 ) so I dont really need to use the z to access windows in our dinning room. Iooking forward to your answer, and advise.

MINIX NEO W2 does not have a power button, it's not possible to turn NEO Z83-4 on using NEO W2.

NEO Z83-4 can only be powered on by pressing the power button on the side of the Mini PC.

It is not possible to install Android OS on NEO Z83-4.
 
I guess Iv got a 60" windows 10 computer in my lounge room that I need a step ladder to turn on, anyway thanks for the response John, I might replace my desk top computer (tower ) with this little bugger, and see what happens, by the way, the Z83 is showing me that the installed windows10 Pro is un registered, I thought it was, how to obtain the OEM number....thanks again John,,,,keep safe.

The Windows license key is stored in the BIOS on the device. (Obviously, ordinarily it should automatically activate the key when connecting with Microsoft's servers.)

Have a read here for means of accessing the key yourself....

I've installed Android X86 on my Neo Z83-4 Plus. However, I don't think I was able to turn it on with my 1st Gen Neo A3 (no backlight remote). I'm pretty sure there's no IR sensor to pick up the power button's IR signal.
 
its ok now maybe the Z83 dont like running on an android tv in the first place, I reinstalled on a normal tv and things were fine.

NEO Z83-4 Plus doesn't have an IR-receiver.
 
its ok John, the Z83 is great, win 10 is slick and fully operational, I will just add another U1 to the TV on the wall and use the Z83 for what its meant for, the U1's are great for all the other stuff, I feel that my large Android TV has issues with some APS like Play Store, as it is not accepted by the system on the TV, yet the U1 accepts all APP's no worries,, EVEREST is the name of my Android TV, but running the U1 through it is fantastic.
