You could have an A3 issue (maybe a key always pressed), i can last 6 months with rechargeable batteries.

The keys are affixed to this problem of advanced consumption it has always had since I bought A3. Every 3/4 days I have to change batteries.

I use Varta 1000 mAh AAA Accu Rechargeable Batteries.

I've no idea how long they last. Certainly not six months but maybe a few weeks. Depends how much use the remote gets!

ok i will try to buy varta batteries.
another thing by chance the A3 remote has speaker? the symbol at the top with musical notes for what purpose?

Hello
Since I bought the A3 remote control the batteries have a duration of 3 days although I bought rechargeable batteries 1000 mAp varta and eneloop and no keys are pressed. Why last only 3 days? Is my remote control defective?

This issue is discussed in the link to the thread I posted above. However, try this.....

Enter U9-H Settings --> Audio --> Sound Devices --> Input Devices --> choose Onboard Mic Input.

It disables the mic on the A3 & allows the remote to sleep normally :). Obviously, you will completely lose ALL voice input/control, so don't forget you changed this setting if you intend to use voice controls again in the future!!

Choose Auto or USB-Audio - SAGE AirMouse under the settings above if you'd like to re-enable the mic on the A3 at a later time.

with high quality batteries and an average of one hour daily use.

OK, try another simple test.

Use the cursor with the A3 then put the remote down for 20-30 minutes. Is the remote (& cursor) still active when you pick it up again after it's been sat idle for a longer period? (This would indicate that the remote isn't entering sleep mode normally).

Otherwise, obviously something isn't right. I previously had the issue with my remote failing to enter sleep mode caused by the mic & certain Google apps. I had to change batteries every 3-4 days at the time. Since disabling the mic on the A3, I've only had to change the batteries twice in the past 8-9 months!!

Hello
9 months??? I have tried and the remote control shuts down properly after a period of unuse.
Then I guess my remote control has something wrong. It never went properly.
