Remote chews batteries

Having big problems with my Neo U1remote. It works for around a day when I put new batteries in then slowly dies. Is there anything I can do to sort this other than buying new remote ? Is there an App on Apple for remote control ? I do have a Huawei as a spare ph, is there a remote App on Google that would work

Which remote are you using? The IR-Remote, NEO A2 Lite or NEO A3?

Same issue here A2 lite remote with Minix Neo U1.
has worked perfectly until last couple of weeks and now drains batteries in a day or so. very frustrating, Does anyone have a solution for this please? thanks
