Can anyone tell me what RF remotes are available for the Neo U22-XJ?

I can't afford to spend another $30 for the Minix A3 remote

MINIX's A2 Lite is another good option. It is probably close to the price of the A3 however.

Using a MINIX remote with a MINIX device is money well spent, they work very well and all the buttons work as they should..... which you can't guarantee with other brands.

Is the A2 remote RF? I need to do something since the directional up button on the minix remote that came with my U220-XJ brings up the TV main menu. Because of this I loose the picture until I close the TV menu.

Why should I have to pay an additional $30 for a remote that should be included in the first place?

They will work with basic functionality however, as stated above by @midnight not all buttons are guaranteed to function or be mapped properly and likewise they will not have all the buttons that the Minix remotes have to make your user experience that much better. This is entirely your decision at the end of the day, goedkoop is duurkoop!!

As the guys mentioned before, the remotes of other brands may not work as intended. I highly recommend a minix neo k1 mini keyboard if you manage to come across one (even used). MINIX doesn't make them anymore, but it's one of my favourite products. I use it with my device since I remember.

I have the same issue with the stock remote and my TCL tv. It's a PIA...

I use the the Minix A3 remote, but have tried others. Keep in mind that other remotes will most likely have the ok button mapped to enter instead of dpad_center, which may cause problems in some apps. For example, the leanback keyboard. Most apps will work without issue though, it's just a problem for poorly coded apps. You may need to use an alternate keyboard like the leankey keyboard.

I've used this remote and it works pretty well. https://www.amazon.com/Control-Wire...d=1&keywords=g20+remote&qid=1617708036&sr=8-4

I use a remote like this. I am completely satisfied:

The only button that does not work on my A3 is the "apps" button. I reported this to support@minix last week. Still waiting for a reply.

Nova launcher. Thanks for explaining that. Much appreciated.
NP - You could install sideload launcher from the play store and use button mapper to map the button key press to sideload launcher. Button mapper could also map the app drawer button to Nova's app drawer activity (if there is one).

Good idea. Will give it a whirl. Thank you.
