Is there somebody else, with the same problem? Actually tried to flash the Latest Official Firmware because (after a long pause while it was offline) my box didnt want to boot (splash screen appear with Android logo and then nothing happened). For additional info there is a screenshot attached.

Why do you have "Erase flash" set to "Erase all"? "Normal erase" should be sufficient!

Also you shouldn't have "Reset after success" and "Whether overwrite key" Enabled.

I don't know if it would make a difference but here is the latest Burning Tool version...

Hi
Thank you for your Advice, but the problem still remains with this Burning ROM version as well. (Screenshot Attached)

I hope there is perhaps, anyone else, with the same problem.

Are you using the USB cable that came with the U9? If yes then have you tried different USB ports on the PC you are using? Could you also try without Erase Bootloader ticked. Do you get the same result with FW 008?

I am having the same issue. I have tried different cables and ports on my PC. My box wouldn't start up before I tried this, could that be the problem? It just sat in my Home Theater cabinet for several months and when I tried to use it well it just wouldn't run any more. I was trying to do this to get it to run again. Any thoughts? My errors are as follows;
Romcode/Initialize DDR/Read Initialize status/USB Control setup error
Erase bootloader/Lowper/Identify/Error result
This box has been used for less than 10 times, so it is fairly new.

Hi
I ordered a new power adapter from aliexpress-minix store, while the box wasnt used at all (1,5 Months ). With a brand new power adapter it just doesnt want to start it. Reflash was unsuccessfull with simptoms described above.

Same issue here. Loaded Android 7 from this forum. Now want to go back to Android 6 FW 008 but cannot. Tried everything I could think of, reset, clear cache partition...

I have the same issue, cannot install FW008 after Android 7 update from this forum. Anyone got a solution?

Try placing the FW image on your C drive instead then run it again.

It's not an absolute & I'm not by any means guaranteeing it will solve your issue, but I've experienced issues re-flashing on occasion if the image has been on a NAS or other external drive. Moved it over to C, problem solved :)!!

Let us know if you're still stuck.
