SD Card not recognized

I inserted a SD Card and it recognized it for a short time. It has been a few months since I have logged on and now it doesn't recognize it any longer. I inserted a new card and I have the same issues. Is there a fix?

You mentioned not logging on to the device for some months?

Did you allow a Windows update via the Win update system when you recently began using the device again?

This can cause problems with certain system drivers, typically it completely removes them.
