So the Problem ist there for a long time there are "a lot " of forum posts koncerning this issue not only on MINIX

The problem is that if you turn off the hardware acceleration, the SD / AVI formats run smoothly, but the HQ formats then start to stutter vis versa.

So ther are a few options:

1) There is a Fix / Seeting for Kodi (maybe via Decoderfiltering ?)
2) I Convert all AVI to MKV (please no)
3) I have to switch HW Acceleration on / Off when i wanted to watch AVi or MKV (not very userfriendly)

Any suggestions ?

Get used to 3 option bud ;).

Option 2 is also typically pointless as it's an issue of the original encoding itself that seems to effect the decoding so you'll also convert said encoding issue over to your MKV containers as well.
