Seeking solution for playing NTFS or Ex Fat formatted hard drive files on MINIX NEO U9-H Media Hub for Android

Yes, thats correct, shouldn't be a problem with size of NAS.
You may find that the first time you connect and load all your media files into Kodi's media library it may take some time to scan and collect all the artwork...once done it is cached, so much quicker the next time you view your library.
Sounds good! Thanks.

Hello everyone;

Can anyone recommend the best and affordable nas setup that would be able to transfer 4k with atmos movies to a Minix Neo U9-H. I currently have portable hard disk connect and im planing to start using nas storage, i am afraid to buy a storage that will not be fast enough.

the WD MY CLOUD EX2 ULTRA seems nice will it be a good choice with a couple of 8Tbs?

Thanks in advance.

Yes, that should be fine.

I have the WD MyCloud Home and that works just fine for exactly the same type of files.
Ideally you would need a LAN connection to your minix

Does the WD Mycloud home has 2 hard disk for raid back up option? I will setup a small high speed network for it, i am not willing to share these files with others only for the purpose of home entertainment.

Hello.
Take a look at this:
https://www.techradar.com/news/the-10-best-nas-devices-reviewed

You have in that link many types of NAS.
I personally advice you QNAP or Synology (even for beginner).

Think and read what NAS will be the best for you in the future:
Space needed, more space to more hdds, etc...

No the MyCloud Home just uses a single drive.
If you look at WD forums you will see that some people are unhappy with it, but for use as a network storage device to store your media files which you can acccess on your minix/kodi via SMB it works absoluely fine.

It is a fairly low cost option and for me fulfills my requirements , primarily as a storage device for media files which i access via Kodi, it works perfectly.

If you want a more advanced NAS then go as @notrui2 suggested.
