Just for clarification, the new remote, @antonio6o6 is referring to, I would assume is the A3 Pro which is shipped with the U8K-ULTRA which you are saying it is not!?

I'm going to test the firmware again and I'm going to edit the new firmware for slingbox so the remote can work I will put that update today I'm going to test first on my remote if everything is good I'm going to post it today

Indeed, mine is the original A3. Bought it years ago, shortly after getting my U9-H

Let me ask you another question did you do the modification on the USB.

No, I am using the OTG to USB cable that came with the U9-H and have the A3 dongle plugged into that.
I should also mention that there are a few buttons on the keyboard-side of the remote that do work: the backspace, enter and arrow keys

I will tell you I'm working on the firmware right now and that space is working arrow is working enter is working even when I hit enter on Smart YouTube keyboard pop up

Yes those buttons work for me too (not sure about spacebar), but all the other buttons on the keyboard do not. So the letters don't work, I can't type anything

Pretty soon I'm going to post both firmware for slingbox I check remote control everything is working all the bottom that you mentioned they're all working. I got A2 Remote minix neo

I can support everything Computeraar has stated also owning the A3 remote, only a few keys on the front of the remote work, I have not done the hardware modification, if you feel it will help make my A3 work I will and get back to you. I am very appreciative of the work you have done Antonio, but feel if you dont have the original A3 remote you may not be able to test it

Under original firmware I left the remote control file there. Today I change the remote control files on the mod firmware.use File Fron U22 remote file

The update works perfect! I use the attached and properly Neo u9h old remote . it does not switch off the red button just switch to sleep /switch to wake up . Also In recovery mod, both actions. all the rest remote functions work as normal.

I just tried it and unfortunately it still has the same problem with the A3 remote as before
