Slower performance after upgrade to Lollypop

First thanks to Admins for amazing forum and links!

I recently upgraded my X8H-Plus from Kitkat to Lollipop-RC2 release (thanks for the video tutorial). However, ever since the upgrade, the device seems to have considerably slowed down! Even with say 2 apps open (say Amazon and Youtube), it takes long to launch and then the performance is not as great anymore. Anyone faced this and any solutions anyone here can offer?

It is a normal behaviour.

It is faster with kitkat but it is an older OS.

Its a while back now and I installed the finless ROM on my x8hplus and didnt notice any performance degredation, in fact from memory it worked very well.
