[SOLVED] CoreElec not booting

I'm attempting to install CoreElec but I'm currently getting this error message:

2019-01-28-11.52.03.jpg

Using Rufus I flashed CoreELEC-S912.arm-8.95.7-S912.img.gz to an SD card. I've found variations on instructions as to what to do but when I previously followed the instructions to copy/paste and rename the dts file, I just got the Minix logo, so this time I just flashed the img.gz file. I held the power button down until the Minix logo disappeared. A few moments later I got the errors pictured above. The CoreElec logo appeared on the screen for a short while too before disappearing.

I'm clearly not understanding the instructions. What am I doing wrong?

Sure. I just wanted to get that update in there so I didn't waste anyone's time.

I had been following the instructions on the Minix forum, which confused me a little. Found the instructions on Discourse instead and hadn't realised the dtb file is in the sub-directory of the img file. Just moved it up to root and deleted the original file. Previously I'd just renamed the original file to something else rather than deleting it.

I think that's clear as mud!
