[SOLVED] NEO U22-XJ: Unable to install BT Sport update

minix u9 and minix u22 ... don't allow me to update app to v8.0.3

I installed from the Play Store V8.3.0

So your issue is with updating not the app not working.

Uninstall old and install new from the Play Store.

It spits out App not installed for me, what firmware is your U22 on? Did you sideload while connected via a VPN on a UK server or did you install from Play Store (again with VPN on a UK server)?

I believe for free content you need to be in UK. Outside UK you need a subscription.

I have tried the app on both the U9-H and the U22-XJ.

Initially on th U22-XJ it loaded the BT Sport splash screen with 3 moving dots and timed out to error CF002.

It does now appear to be working!

I am at a loss as to why v8.3.0 can't be sideloaded on the U22, if I search the Play Store without it installed it does not show up because of my location, with v6.0.9 sideloaded it says to update but get the screenshot from Play Store I posted earlier "not available in your country" yet I can sideload v8.3.0 on my Huawei on Android 10?

I saved a copy of the apk, uninstalled and tried using the apk but get App not installed.

I sideloaded v6.0.9 and updated from the Play Store but update doesn't install.

While still in the Play Store I uninstalled the app and installed.

yes ..... I followed everything you have or have advised me and it was not good .... the only remedy was to download from a third party after having scanned apk with two antivirus .... now I have app bt sport 8.0 .3 running on my u9 and u22
