May 5, 2020 I received the package with the new Minix Neo T5. Included is a Minix Neo A3 remote control! This is very unexpected! Thank you very much Minix for the gift!
The Minix Neo T5 firmware version is 9.3.15. USB 3.0 is working correctly. External drives and flash drives 3.0 are recognized.
The following problem was revealed.
HDMI CEC does not work. Samsung TV with HDMI CEC (Anynet +) support. On Minix Neo U9-H previously worked. On the old Minix Neo T5 worked. On Xiaomi Mi Box S it works. With the new Minix Neo T5 does not work! Updating the firmware version to 9.3.16 did not fix the problem. Resetting to factory settings via the restore menu did not fix the problem. Resetting to factory settings using the restore button did not fix the problem. Replacing the HDMI cable did not fix the problem. Replacing the HDMI ports did not fix the problem. Resetting the Samsung TV to the factory settings did not fix the problem. HDMI CEC on Minix Neo T5 does not work. The device is not recognized by the TV with HDMI CEC support. I attach the photo with the settings. What other options are there to fix this? Minix Neo T5 defective?
P.S.
Minix Neo A3 does not work correctly! After a while, it stops responding to button presses. The on-off button only works. Installed new batteries. Problem still exists. Installed rechargeable batteries. Problem still exists. According to the instructions, I made a new connection to the extension cord. Problem still exists. Updating the firmware version to 9.3.16 did not fix the problem. Changing the USB ports helps. Then the problem reappears. What other options are there to fix this? Is the Minix Neo A3 Remote Defective? I have no complaints about the operation of the Minix Neo A3. This is a gift from Minix!
