Stalker Program Tokens and Cookies

I use a stalker program, Stbemu, for IPTV. I'm wondering if the IPTV company adds a token or cookie to my STB?

I know I need to provide a Mag Mac id, but do they add anything else permanent to my STB?

Where would I find the location for cookies or tokens added?

I guess I'm calling the firmware by the wrong name. Instead of stalker it should be middleware.
