Storage Pro killed another dock?

I just received my Minix Storage Pro. I have been using another similar dock with more ports (but no SSD for some time). I plugged in my Storage pro to my M1 MacBook Air for the first time, and played with it a bit. I then ejected it and unplugged it. No issues. I plugged in my other dock to use its SD card reader but it is no longer recognized. At all. The ethernet port won't pass through data, the HDMI port won't output video, the SD card reader doesn't work, the USB-C ports, USB 2 & 3 ports do not work. The only thing that still works my old dock is the power pass through. I unplugged it and plugged my Storage Pro back in. The Minix ports all work. What gives? How would the Minix render a different dock unrecognizable?

Did you reboot the MacBook?

It's intermittent. Some times, I can eject the Minix and plug the other dock in and it's recognized. Other times, I have to re-boot to get the other dock recognized.
