Strange behavior on latest X39 batch

Dear reader,

Hopefully via this method I can get in contact with Minix support personnel to try and troubleshoot / resolve the issue.
In the not so distant past the "support" page on the website was a quick and easy way to get in contact to try and resolve minor issues. Sadly this no longer seems to be the case as multiple requests for support were not reacted to.

We have the following issue;
We sold 10 Minix X39 machines to one of our customers. The batch of X39 has the following issues that prevents the customer from using the machines:
1. 5 of the machines lack any serial number in the menu structure and are shows as "unknown". Our customer uses this for their teamviewer support operations and not having a serial number makes that nearly impossible.
2. 10 of the machines no longer have the ability to turn off and on at specified times. Our customer has bought X39's in the past and uses an in house program to shut the machines down at a specific time of day and start it back up again the next morning. This no longer functions. Machines remain on or do not start up the next day.

While issue 2 is probably not a major issue, it is one of great annoyance. This due to the fact that it worked with the previous batch of machines. Issue number 1 is preventing our customer from continuing to adopt the X39 machines for their business.

We have attempted a software and firmware flash, no results. We have tried to flash machines and at the very least only add a serial number for our customers to be able to continue but this has also not resulted in a solution.

Anyone has any idea what we can do to continue troubleshooting / resolve the issues?

That is a shame as I was about to suggest you seek help directly with MINIX.
