Is there any way to have Netflix working in HD resolution in NEO U9-H please?

Using the Netflix app itself, sadly not, (the U9-H isn't a Netflix certified device).

What you could try is installing the Netflix add-on to Kodi!! I briefly tested it a few months ago now & it did offer some content in 720p & 1080p. However, the downside to the Kodi add-on was that an awful lot of the content available from the actual Netflix app was missing from the Kodi add-on. (It's incredibly difficult to put a figure on just how much content was missing compared to the app but it was well over 50%.) You might get lucky in that something you did want to watch is included.

I didn't test the Kodi add-on in depth & I haven't used it since or kept up on more recent developments with the add-on as I just don't use my U9-H for Netflix myself, my TV supports Netflix natively.

Worth a shot, especially if you're a Kodi fan :)!!

I have the same problem with my NEO U9-H. Two days ago the Netflix app I had (which worked in HD) asked for my credentials, and never worked again. I think it was the V.5.3.1 version.


I read a lot of discussions on this forum. I downloaded the V4.16 version and I could log in without any problem at all. The downside of this alternative is the resolution, which is SD at most.

I realize also that there is a lot of versions of the Netflix app (up to V.7.), is there any other alternative to v4.16 capable to play at 720 the Netflix catalogue?

Ive already tried the V6.26.1 build 15 31696 and did not work for me :confused:. An error window comes as soon as i open the app. I reboot my U9-H but the error comes again.

Any suggestions?
It definitely works!

Try uninstalling it again, clear your Cache to ensure nothing is left behind. Install it again, put your login credentials again. Hopefully you are good to go. Make sure you don't have any other version of Netflix installed other than perhaps the version in Kodi !

I don´t have an account on netflix.

I will try again. This V6.26.1 plays in HD? or at least a better quality than V4.16?
