Switch off IPV6

How can I switch off IPV6 addressing ?

I have an app that keeps trying to use the IPV6 address that seems to be assigned to my Minix, which just hangs the app.
The address is not coming from my DHCP server as I have not defined any IPV6 and disabled everything.
 
Its an IPTV app.

When it drops the IPV4 connection for any reason, it cycles through to the IPV6, which just screws the app.
