Trouble with K400 keyboard

I've been using a Logitech K400 wireless keyboard with my U9-H very happily until a couple of weeks ago. Now something's happened and it only works occasionally. I can use a wireless mouse OK and I can use my K400 on a PC OK, so that suggests some intermittent incompatibility between the U9-H and the K400.

I'm thinking to buy a new K400, but don't want to blow a whole £30 on a gamble.

Anyone have any experience of this or similar?

Batteries?

My thinking behind this is I presume with the PC the keyboard is much closer!

I have the K400+ that I primarily use with my Windows MINIX mini PC's. However, on occasion I quickly bung the USB dongle into the U9-H if things are getting a bit too fiddly/long winded for typing everything in on an a3 etc.

Can't say I've noticed any problems with the K400+ & the U9-H recently!!

(Distance from K400+ to the dongle when inserted in the U9-H or the Win mini PC's is identical in my case. (They're all on the same shelf.))

If it's not overlooked/weakened batteries in the keyboard have you tried re-pairing the keyboard with the USB dongle?

Thanks for the suggestions, folks.

My Windows PC is saying 'Device not recognized' now, so I'm going to go the replacement route after all.

(P.S. I've checked the batteries)

The new K400 worked out of the box, so good, family happy.

Tried the re-pairing but my PC seems not to recognise the dongle. Error in Device Manager and the utility Villa linked to doesn't see it. So, it seems the dongle is not working, which is ironic because it's the keyboard that's been dropped on the floor a million times.

Have you tried pairing the old keyboard with the new dongle?

Lol, I really should have coated mine in bubble wrap too, it's forever sliding off furniture. They can certainly take some punishment, (just as well ;).)

Glad you're back to full functionality albeit £30 lighter too ;)!
